Description: This lovely little vintage treasure is hand made and hand painted. The sides are connected with dove tailing. The artist carved the wood around the floral design to create texture and depth. The floral design is hand painted. The artisan who made this box put a lot of care and love into it's creation. I think he was making a treasure for someone he loved. Length: 3 5/8" Width: 1 1/2" Height: 2 3/8" This is a vintage box and looks it. It has wear to both the wood and the design. The painted motifs have some missing paint. There are 2 holes in the top of the box. I am not sure what the purpose of these holes was. To me, the wear adds to the charm of the box.
