This item is Vintage Japanese Kokeshi Doll by Takeshi circa 1970s. This kokeshi doll looks like a sleeping baby. The white plum blossoms are also adorable! "KOKESHI" is a traditional Japanese craft that has been around since the Edo period, over 200 years ago.It is a wooden doll carefully made by craftsmen one by one!From wood carving to painting, the craftsmen make them by hand.
