Description: Vintage KitchenAid Hobart, H-5 Ice and Hot Water Jacket - GUC XXXRARE Used - Good Used Condition - Tin plate has some oxidation and worn areas from normal wear and age (see all pictures). Brass side hooks are in amazing condition; truly beautiful. Attachment was washed, rinsed, sanitized and polished prior to this listing. It is ready for immediate food use. Everything functions normally as it was intended. This tin plate over steel ice and hot water jacket attachment was manufactured by Hobart for its KitchenAid division in the 1920s. It works on both the Model G and Model H-5 mixer; however it was designed specifically for the H-5. The model G version which came out about 10 years later had smaller side hooks that were made of tin plated steel, not brass. The bowl is made of tin plated steel and the side mounting brackets are brass. This attachment has been out of production by Hobart for over 90 years now. It is extremely rare to find one especially in such good condition. Listing includes the following: Tin plated steel ice and hot water jacket only. Copy of original use and care instructions from Hobart / KitchenAid This ice and hot water jacket will not fit any other KitchenAid or Hobart mixer other than the Model H-5 and Model G.
