Description: This Les Bernard necklace is a striking mix of polished abalone beads. They are hand strung and have a screw type closure. The necklace is photographed to show both sides of the beads- one side has the typical abalone coloration - photos 1, 4-6, the other side is I assume the other part of the shell and has a nice mix of textures - photos 7-10. When worn, the beads will fall on various sides as shown in photos 2, 11-13. The necklace measures about 31” from end to end. It is in very good condition. Clasp works properly. There is some verdigris on one of the metal pieces connecting the necklace to the clasp- see right hand side of photo 14. One bead has an indentation which I assume is part of its natural shape and not a flaw, but I wanted to point it out - see last photo. Please examine all photos carefully. Will come in a new white gift box.
