Description: This vintage McKee custard glass sugar canister is a charming and useful addition to any kitchen. With a round shape measuring approximately 5 1/8 inches in height by a diameter of 5 7/8 inches ( lid is 6 1/4 inches diameter). The canister comes with its original lid and both are in excellent pre-owned condition, with no chips, cracks, or discoloration. There are of course, a couple of small original manufacturers imperfections like straw marks. The script lettering is dark and bold and the uranium glass retains its smooth and glossy finish (glows bright green under a black light). The canister has a mid-century theme and was manufactured in the United States in the 40s and 50s. It is an original piece and not a licensed reproduction.
