Description: RARE PURDUE CREAMERY MILK CAN 10 GAL MARKED PU CRMY A hard to find vintage item. It is a Purdue Creamery 10 gal milk can. It is marked , embossed, stamped in metal PU CRMY. There is a lid but I have no idea if this is original?? looks good on it. The can has a lot of dings and dents in it !! You can sure tell it was well used.. It is approximately 25 inches tall including the lid. Has new paint on can and the embossed P.U. CRMY is painted gold. This can was made by BUHL, has markings on handles. I can't imagine lugging this around in the day! weighs little over 27 pounds now , this must weigh around 110 pounds full of milk?! When I got this it was painted.. wish it wasn't!! anyway I cleaned it up, repainted it , looks better but I am not a professional painter!! Let me know if you have any questions , thanks for looking.
