Description: Up for sale is a smaller Samson #5218 bench vise in restored condition. Most of the Samson vises I’ve seen during my time collecting were of the “exposed screw & slide” style so this was a first for me. I believe it was made by Rock Island and just branded “Samson” It has 3 1/2” jaws with a 2 3/4” throat depth. The max opening is 5 3/4” and it weighs right at 40lbs. Aside from some small nicks and marks, it’s in very nice condition.
