Description: This was my grandmother's sewing machine. It was converted from the treadle which is still in the case into a foot petal for my mother when it became too much for her to do. Both have passed so I have no other information on it and It hasn't been used in years, we plugged it in recently and it turns on put does not run, sounds like the motor is locked up it just makes a loud buzzing noise. The light works and like I said, there is power but can't get the machine to actually sew so this is perfect if you can restore and/or repair. When we googled the age by the serial number (G4287319) on the Singer Serial Number Data Base website it says Dec. 14, 1915, Model 66, quantity 50000. There are some threads and things in the drawers and they will come with the machine and there is an old cloth cover also included. We also found an old Singer Student's Manual book from 1957, also included. The cabinet is solid wood and extremely heavy. I would prefer someone pick it up but will ship if necessary.
