Description: A very nice example of a premium ratcheting corner bit brace, the compact Stanley model no 984 This Corner Ratcheting Bit Brace has a fully boxed ratchet, ball bearing head, universal chuck & jaws and rosewood handles. The universal jaws use traditional tapered auger bits as well as the more modern round and hex shank bits. Ratchet works, but tends to slip in one direction. May need some sort of cleaning, adjustment or possibly a new spring, not really sure. (B2)
