Description: Vintage Timberland Weathergear XL Leather Jacket. Condition is "Pre-owned". Released by Timberland in the Fall of 1996, when the company was making extremely high quality goods. This.XL jacket is in excellent used condition and I have been the only owner. It has not been worn for many years and stored properly on a hanger. First and foremost, this is a substantial jacket. It is brown cowhide with lighter brown detailing on the rear of the collar. I have not reconditioned the leather, as I think the natural patina has this jacket looking even better than new and buyer can make the decision as to leave in current state or condition for a shinier look. I’d characterize the cowhide as in heavy and there is a polyester liner with an interior pocket for wallet, phone, etc. The fur collar is detachable. It is missing one interior button (of four) that attach the collar. Additionally on of the exterior buttons that fasten the collar is relatively loose. The collar attaches just fine despite these imperfections, though you may choose to make the simple fix. In summary, this is a high quality cowhide jacket from an era of Timberland where they were a high-end apparel company playing off of what was the highest brand image emanating from their boots. It is men’s XL and I would characterize the fit as roomy, allowing for layering underneath. It is clearly in used condition.
