Description: I know that this dress is a wedding dress due to the train on the back, which nicely hooks to the zipper area. I thought I would offer it up as a wedding dress for wedding season, but I also thought of shortening it, and cutting the train off and dying the dress if you are so inclined, that would be an option for this beautiful vintage article of clothing. The union tag dates it from 1974 to 1995. I would put it more in the 1970 era. there is a bit of stretch with the polyester dress, but the measurements are unstretched and flat lie. Armpit to armpit is 16 inches, empire waist is 15 inches, the sleeves are 22 inches, and the total length of the dress not including the train 60 inches. This dress is in overall very good vintage condition, with no stains or odors to note.
