Description: Travel back in time with this unbranded antique fiddle. It is a 4/4, full-size violin. 14-1/2" body and 23-5/8" overall length. The back is a two-piece flamed maple that looks just fabulous. Good flaming on the maple sides too. Maple neck. Spruce top. Both the top and back have have twinned black/white/black striping around the edges. Cosmetically, it looks alright. There are various scuffs, scrapes, and scratches on the body. It has a homemade aluminum tailpiece. No fine tuners. Functionally, it plays. It comes with an unhaired Merson bow. It comes inside an old FLM hard case. The latches and hinges work, but the leather case handle is broken. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
