Description: A Wedgwood Queen's Ware small ashtray featuring Celadon (Green) on Cream embossed grapevines. This round ashtray measures about 4" in diameter. On the back is printed Made in England Wedgwood Embossed Queen's Ware of Etruria & Barlaston 6 and impressed is Wedgwood 4 C 57 and two initial I think are D v. This retired pattern was made between 1957 - 1974 and I am guessing the 57 impressed number on the back is for the year it was made or the year when this pattern started being produced. The ashtray is in very good condition with no cracks and no crazing. Please see photos of the outer edge on the back there are three small round impressions, two are hard to see and one is dark in the center. I think these tiny indentations are a part of how this ashtray was made but please note these indentations. See photos for up close inspection and measurements with a ruler. The photos are apart of the description. Make an offer to add this hard to find collectible to your Wedgwood collection or ashtray collection. Message me with any questions or if purchasing multiple listings and I will be happy to combine shipping costs if possible. Thank you for looking.
