It is fabric from 2010 that was produced to celebrate the 50 years of independence of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The cloth is adorned with several black stars and cut diagonally by a red stripe with a thin yellow frame. It was produced for the University of Wisconsin Library of African studies. It is 100% cotton and a good weight for clothing.
