Description: Vtg 1964 Tokyo Olympics JAF Auto Badge w/ Box Paper Japan Automobile Federation This lot includes the JAF car badge, original paper insert and branded styrofoam packaging. The mounting bracket and both mounting nuts are present. However, there is only one set of the washer and spring for the bracket, not two. The badge measures 3.5” in diameter. The badge will be shipped in a sturdy box with appropriate bubble wrap and packaging. The badge is in good used vintage condition. The enamel has a few areas with small scratches and use wear, but not much. The back of the badge has moderate wear and discoloration from aging. The mounting bracket and associated pieces has many nicks/dings and some discoloration as well. The paper insert has been folded, and has some handling wear. Along the bottom of the paper is brown staining that goes through both sides of the paper. The styrofoam packaging has moderate wear from handling and age, and yellowing and residue from tape that was formerly attached. The badge is not mint, nor is the styrofoam packaging, paper insert and mounting bracket/hardware. Please see pictures.
