Description: Vintage Shakespeare Professional Standard Taper Wonderod Fly Fishing Rod #FY-200 8'6" Manufactured in September, 1965 and sold in the 1966 catalog. This is a two piece vintage Shakespeare Wonderod. Model FY-200 from Shakespeare's Professional Series. Rod is 8'6" in length and weighs 4.4 oz. Standard Taper design for all purpose use on either trout or bass, rod will handle a 5-6 weight fly line. Rod dates to October of 1965. 4" black maroon anodized aluminum sliding hood down locking ring fly reel seat. 7 1/2" cork with maroon aluminum winding check. Standard stainless steel hookkeeper, stainless steel stripper guide, six stainless steel snake guides and a stainless tip top. Maroon anodized aluminum Swiss style ferrules. Blade is Wonderod white with maroon nylon guide winds and black nylon extensions.
