Tested just prior to listing and found to be in excellent working condition. Ringer volume can be controlled with a small knob on the side. Sound quality is good both ways. This has a modular connection. The little tab has broken off the plug that keeps it from pulling out of the wall jack, but it does not affect its performance in any way.
