Description: Vtg Harvey Green Turquoise SNAKE + Logs 925 Sterling Silver 6.5" Cuff BRACELET ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HERE'S A VINTAGE ESTATE TREASURE that some affectionado is going to really enjoy! Wonderful piece of historic Novelty Fred Harvey style, it would be a great addition to your 'stacking' wardrobe collection! Features a powerful thunderbird inset with a securely bezel set genuine turquoise cabochon. Background scene has a fantastic arrow design, and fabulous stamped native designs. Cuff band is nicely sturdy, and although there is a slight 'ripple' on the one side of the bracelet--that is ORIGINAL TO THE PIECE- you can see it was from the concho design being struck a little hard. , both are attached to the band tightly. and have FANTASTIC expressions and stamped designs. The rest of the cuff has arrow symbols, thunderbird tracks, crossing pathes symbols, & whirling logs on the back. I would say this was probably made between late 1940s/mid 50s at the latest. And it hadn't been cleaned or polished for decades upon decades. The inside measurement from tip to tip is approximately 5 1/2" and the opening measurement between the tip is approximately 1-1/4"Approximate width across the opening of the bracelet is 2-5/16", from the front of the bracelet to the back opening 1-3/4" The curved cuff bracelet itself measures 6.75" overall, but Shown modelled on a 6.25" wrist, which I find it comfortable, although due to the design, it could easily be 'opened up' slightly with no problem,--so it would be nice for on a slightly larger wrist too. Mostly original patina, I only used a regular cloth for a light quick buff to show the detail a wee better-no chemicals or abrasives-you can always take off patina, but not put it back on!! Although unmarked, as is common in much older pieces, this is guaranteed made in the American southwest long ago, from my personal collection~ I've had it for 35years myself. This is TRULY WONDERFUL and needs to be openly worn and appreciated as it was intended to be!!! **A TRUE DELIGHTFUL TREASURE**!
