Description: You are viewing a very nice set of 24 ornaments, Mostly by Shiny Brite. The set features a mix of colors and patterns. There are stencils, lanterns, tops, round, etc. The swirled white ink and blue ornament is from West Germany, but I believe the rest are Shiny Brite. 2 of them (a mica round and mushroom shaped) are unsilvered, which dates them to WWII when they didn't allow silvering due to the war effort. To give an idea of size, the West Germany Spiral measures 3.25" long. The large tree shaped lantern is 3" long. Round ornaments are about 2.25" in diameter. As for their age, The stencils of the village with church and Merry Christmas with angled holly are both from 1949. The Merry Christmas with 2 holly leaves below is from 1948. The skiing snowman is from 1950. The 24 ornaments come in 2 vintage Shiny Brite boxes. These items are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The paint on a few of them shows wear, and they have age related spots on them. The boxes have sturdy bases and protective lids, but both lids have rips and splits at the seams. These items will be packaged with care and shipped with your choice of UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail.
