Description: This auction is for a fabulous Vintage Print! It appears to be The Sea at Satta in Suruga Province by Utagawa Hiroshige. I got this a couple weeks ago from a fine estate in Cambridge, Mass. The previous owners (in their 80's) did not know much about this. As renowned academics, they traveled the world and also received gifts from around the world. They either picked this up on their travels or received it as a gift. The print is in the mat is about 19 1/4" x 13". The print itself is about 14 1/2" x 9 1/2". It came in an envelope from Watanabe's Woodblock Prints "Established 1906, 6-19, Ginza 8-chome, Tokyo, Japan." The print is in very good condition. I'm not sure it was ever really removed from the envelope. I would be happy for any additional information about this print- can you help? Please feel free to contact me. Check out the photos!
