Description: We are offering a unique opportunity to own this stunning Webb Museum antique misers purse or misers bag Georgian / Victorian. I am always honored to own part of our history. The purse is made of tight thread in red and mostly metal facetted beads, two wide metal rings in the center, and the ends are adorned with a metal tassle. The metal beads and tassle have a beautiful and brite sparkle, and the purse is truely beautiful. We will include the tag used by the Webb Museum. Since this purse is mostly made with the metal beads, it is very heavy for a misers purse. The purse measures approximately just under 11.50" in length. The purse is in good antique condition considering age and useage. It appears that one tassle end had an early repair by re-sewn. The repair doesn't appear professional, and so we could only assume it was made by the original owner. but the overall condition is good! Please see photos for more detail. Sadly, we are liquidating our antique collection, and most items are being sold for at least 50% or less than the original price paid. Each of our items are sold "as is" as every item was previously owned. Our goal is to share everything we know about each item to the best of our ability. We are not experts but we have researched each item at the time of purchase. We, also, inspect each item prior to listing and prior to shipment. We don't always get a chance to send offers. So if you like this item, please submit your offer. We will consider all reasonable offers.
