This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! This mitt has the best pocket of any mitt I own ! The mitt totally swallows up a baseball ! In the 4th photo you can notice that the glove swallows up the baseball so well that you can’t even see the ball inside of the mitt ! So catching a baseball with this mitt will be very easy ! The glove is also fully broken in and totally flexible ! So your young player will not struggle with a hard to use glove ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove totally swallows up a baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a baseball in the pocket ! The 7th photo shows how the glove holds a full size 12 inch round softball in its pocket ( that’s in case you decided to use this glove for softball ) ! The inner lining is in all leather and the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! As far as fitting goes, The glove is a tight fit on my average adult size hand and it is snug in the finger stalls ! The glove does have a Velcro wristband so you can get the tightness around your wrist to your own liking !, I don’t see any ink or marker anywhere on the glove !
