The seal has been broken at the bottom, very carefully when i first purchased the item over a decade ago.the plastic , sticker and insert (see pictures) are all included. i have never removed any item from it and had it displayed as one of the centerpieces in my collection on an open book display for years and later put the original seal back on it. I would be more than happy to send you pictures of my full sealed display when it was in its prime, just let me know!!! This item has been taken care of very well in a climate controlled, smoke/pet free environment on my handmade display cabinet and is one of my favorite items in my whole collection.
